Skyline Materials

Located in Missouri, Skyline Materials was started in 2007 with the purchase of the Newark Quarry and Laplata Lot from Kelly Limestone. Various size aggregate products are manufactured and stockpiled for sale at the Newark Quarry.

The Laplata Lot is a stockpile of most of the sizes of products produced at Newark and hauled to Laplata for sale there.

In 2008, we expanded our Missouri operations with the purchase of the Glasgow Quarries from the Parks Families. This included 3 quarries (Glasgow, Gilliam, and Miami) and one storage lot (Marceline).

Various size aggregate products are currently manufactured at the Glasgow and Gilliam Quarries and stockpiled for sale. The Marceline Lot is a stockpile of most of the various sizes of products produced at Glasgow and Gilliam and hauled to Marceline for sale there.

The Miami Quarry is not yet up and running, but will be in the near future.

Approximately 50 people are employed by Skyline Materials. Most of them were employed by Kelly Limestone and the Parks Families and joined Skyline Materials.
